    yeah.... thanks...
I snapped it when I was parachuting down from my personal Bombardier Global Express XRS, I travel in style. But I prefer not to land the plane, I just have John Travolta (my personal pilot) refuel it in mid air, and continue on to the Bahamas to my home. Then when I parachute down, take care of business and am drunk out of my mind, I will hit the easy button and my plane will land at Sheremetevo International, and I will load my plane with fine young Russian Babes, and jet set off back to the bahamas.

Like dzhaga-dzhaga stated previously, this is just someone's what-if concept which has nothing to with reality. There is no such thing being tested as far as I know. But there was an experimental BTR-70 based MGS, 2S14 "Zhalo-S", being developed back in mid 80's.

I came across this last week.
Can any body confirm or has more details?

Last December 18 , Russian ITAR-Tass and Interfax have quoted Lebanese Defense Minister Elias Murr as saying that Russia has agreed to supply his country with 10 MiG-29 fighter jets.
The ITAR-Tass said the planes will be provided as aid.
Israel has been consistently violating the Lebanese airspace using US fighter jets. This deal was seen as a response to the Israeli violations
The big question is : Are the planes that are being supplied to Lebanon "inferior quality " rejects from the Algerian contract ?
The issue of the quality of the Russian planes has come up several times in Lebanon . Many also questioned whether Russia will provide Lebanon with planes that have all the proper accessories to enable the Lebanese air force to effectively intercept Israeli planes ?
Professor Ghassan Karam went as far as questioning the need for these planes :
"A Lebanese Air Force composed of 10 MIG 29’s will not become operational for years, it will increase exponentially Lebanese dependence on Russian training, radar systems, and maintenance but above all it will help bring Lebanon into the Russian orbit in exchange for war materiel that is ineffective and that Lebanon does not strategically need in the first place." Karam wrote in his exclusive Ya Libnan editorial on 23 December, 2008.
Lebanon is in a tough neighborhood and the Lebanese people are therefore extremely grateful for any help they can get to strengthen the Lebanese army including the Russian gift of 10 Mig-29 , but if these planes are "inferior quality " rejects , they will become a liability and a burden on the armed forces.
Ya Libnan is bringing up this issue to alert the Lebanese Defense authorities to the possibility that they may be getting "inferior quality " products from Russia and that instead of strengthening the army we will be weakening it !

Well I came across this article a few days ago.

Russia to buy back 24 fighters rejected by Algeria for $690 mln

MOSCOW, February 9 (RIA Novosti) - Russia's Defense Ministry will pay 25 billion rubles ($690 million) for 24 MiG fighters that Algeria has refused to accept due to their "inferior quality," a Russian deputy prime minister said on Monday.

"The issue of the Defense Ministry's procurement of a large batch of fighters under a former Algerian contract has been settled," Sergei Ivanov said.

"We are talking about 24 aircraft worth 25 billion rubles," he added.

Russian arms export monopoly Rosoboronexport signed a $1.3 bln contract to deliver 28 one-seat MiG-29SMT fighters and six two-seat MiG-29UB combat trainers to Algeria in March 2006 as part of an $8 billion military cooperation agreement.

However, after receiving 15 MiG fighters, Algeria refused further deliveries in May 2007. It then froze all payments under contracts with Russia in October 2007, requiring that Moscow first take back the 15 MiG-29s due to their "inferior quality."

The aircraft were eventually returned to Russia last April, and after thorough testing were approved for the service with the Russian Air Force.

Meanwhile, following a MiG-29 crash in East Siberia last December, the Defense Ministry admitted for the first time last week that Russia's MiG-29 fleet of 281 aircraft was mostly outdated and not capable of performing combat duties.

Military experts believe the aircraft, which was developed in the 1970s and supplied to the Air Force between 1983 and 1993, has become obsolete and needs to be removed from active service.

MiG-29SMT is an upgraded version of the MiG-29 fighter, carrying a wide range of air-to-air and air-to-surface weaponry.

The MiG aircraft maker earlier said that after an upgrade the combat effectiveness of the aircraft increased three-fold and operating costs dropped by about 40%
Algeria originally ordered 34 MiG-29SMT so it makes you wonder what happened to the other 10 MiGs. I first thought that the last 10 MiG-29s weren’t completed yet and the RuAF wasn’t going to bother with them but they might be going to the Lebanese air force, who knows.
