Default Trophies from the August 2008 Georgia War

I am looking forward for all the available photos of captured military equipment by the Russians, S. Ossetians and Abkhazians.

I am particularly interested in captured anti-air equipment. But, please please post anything you came accross, from M-4s to T-72s.

Also, this is a Strictly Photos & Video thread. PLEASE KEEP POLITICS OUT OF IT.

Thanks in advance for your participation & cooperation.

I will start with these photos of ex-Georgian BUK-M1 surface to air missile complexes being taken to Russia. I believe these photos were never posted here before.

I wonder what the likely outcome of these captured weapons are? Do the Russians use them or give them to S. Ossetians?

Some will be used by the Russians. Others are in service with the S.Ossetian and Abkhazian military. Others have found their way to Kubinka and other museums.

Nah, those are 14.5" tubes. By the way, the pic of burned weapons, looks like a Negev SAW there
