Default [ID request] sniper rifle - Aust'n SF

ID this rifle?

I don't think it's the standard issue Aussie sniper rifle. The AI stock is much more flatter, more squared. It's a Sako isn't it?

What does everyone else make of it?

The pistol grip reminds me of a Blaser 93T, but it looks to thick to be it.

Bolt looks differnt to the SR 98.

My guess, blaser. My mate has tactical 2 in 308/338 lapua. The bolts look the same.

Its a Blaser 93 LRS2, the straight pull bolt action is a good indicator.

You're right, his hand encloses the grip as he holds the rifle, i was looking at the back of the action. For a minute i thought it could also be a GOL.

The action on those rifles is pretty sweet, well on the civilian versions. Heavy as all get out though.

A bit off track, but notice they blurred the NVG he has on his helmet (which is near his thigh). The other photos in the album also blur some of the IR lasers on the carbines.
