The colors are more suited to the environment in which they are expecting to operate. It's similar, but it's not marpat, just like how marpat isn't cadpat, etc...

I think our DCU is cooler than our jungle camo.

The SAF medical team in Afghanistan was equipped to face the challenge of treating combat injuries from explosives and the danger of rocket attacks on their base. - CYBERPIONEER
