I have never seen anyone wearing a "combat shirt" in service.
And pleaaaaase, get new trousers. They are way too tight.
We tend to wear them a bit more "baggy", at least in the infantry.

Helbi:
how much is one of your airsoft g36 worth?

theres a bigbigbig difference between beeing on duty and beeing "at home",
wearing greens.Ppl give a shyt on 37/10 when deployed to ISAF.

Sorry im not very into that combat shirt stuff, 'cause we
would never be allowed to wear them. not flame resistant etc. pp..
And besides that its Flecktarn, isnt Helbi wearin another jacket(shirt)?
IMHO the Fw on your picture is wearing an under armor shirt, not a combat shirt, like helbis.

edit:
helbi, theres nothing wrong with your trousers. they are just to bloody tight. it looks like that you grabbed the wrong size!
Got me?

The Fw in the picture is wearing a TacGear Combat Shirt and as Helbi wrote, he is wearing a German First Line Combat Shirt. They are not made by same producer but are basically the same.
And the TacGear Combat Shirt is about 50€ when the GFL one is at about 90€ to 100€, depends on having the light version for summer or the heavy one for colder days.
By now a flame resistant combat shirt has been developed by Sabre (aka JK Defence & Security GmbH), it will be at about 160€. Sabre has finally recognized the needs of the QRF, as I think.

Finally... it took way to long.
But anyways, I've never seen someone wearing a combat shirt,
in germany. The only one I ever saw was a HFlg 2nd Lt, in Hammelburg and then he only wore it like 1 day within the 8 days...i guess he didnt like it

thanks for the information,kilokilo.

I saw some comrades wearing GFL Combat Shirt under the regular field jacket while doing 30km march to fulfill yearly duty. I did not know why they did so, but when I asked, one of them replied that it feels comfortable. This situation is not comparable to "real" armed service, I know.
Anyway, this is brand new Sabre Super Douper flame resistant shirt: Click.

they were wearing a damned combat shirt under the field jacket(Feldjacke!?/Feldbluse?!)?
Bloody hell! I'd sweat my butt off. Most of the time during 30's I run...

Yeah, I meant to say under the Feldbluse (was'nt quite sure with the correct translation). Me, I personally prefer the comparably light regular uniform for 30's.

Antispam:

German First Line Smock "Port Darwin" and GFL "Goose Green" (why are they named like Falkland Islands features, where no Germans were involved during the conflict in 1982?^^). Photo taken on last days of DEC2008 while testting the new cold weather clothing and sleeping bags. And also in the picture my buddy.

The Hanwags belong to my buddy. By now I have my own pair, there in the pic I wear Haix KSK 3000 Mountain Boots/ Bergestiefel. Really good ones, but Hanwags are heavy as f*ck and so nice to wear.
The cold weather weather gear actually was the GFL smock and pants as shown in the pics. They come with a 3 layer inner jackets/ inner trouser, that has of course the ability to breathe. Additionally I wore the FOX Softshell Jacket (direct copy of BW Windstopper Jacket "Saalfelden", but with a Breathtex membrane) and thermofunctional underwear I bought at Tschibo. (Can't tell if these stores are common in other countries, besides selling coffee, they also offer clothing and allday use stuff depending on the season). It was perfectly warm and comfortable even during the skirmish we had.
For sleeping I tried the Carinthia Defence 4 under a tarp. I have never slept tighter, although temperatures dropped beyond -12°C.
I placed a Nordisk Midgaard thermo mat under the bag, to keep my butt warm and it worked good. The thermo mat has now been replaced by a Therm-A-Rest Ridgerest, because on pictures you see this one and not the Midgaard.

Default A few pics,

Hi Guys

Just a few pics of my flecktarn kit, will add a few more in the future. First one is myself and a team mate wearing wusterntarn. I am aiming to eventually complete my kit to KSK standard, at the moment i am at the level of a fallshirmjager.

Next is an older photo taken about 18 months ago, with a mil tec vest, that soon went lol. C.A. MG 36 and standard issue wusterntarn.

Please note the following about German camouflage patterns:
5FB TD (5 Farben Tarndruck/ 5 Coulors Camouflage "Printing")
3FB TD (3 Farben Tarndruck/ 3 Colours Camouflage "Printing") [Printing is the 1:1 translation, a little bit weird, i know]

Wüstentarn as term is officially non existing inside the German Federal Armed. What you call Wüstentarn, is the 3FB TD or Tropentarn (tropical camouflage pattern). There is one existent camouflage pattern invented by JK Defence & Security GmbH aka Sabre that is called Wüstentarn.

But BTT:
Abuse your vest with a bit of Krylon and please throw away the TacGear boonie. I think you probably know what to change then . Nice beginning.
