Yeah, I would be too. They go hardcore down in Aussie...all those things inhabiting the place that can kill you.

It'd be neat to do, though.

Good luck with getting your petition going through!

Hahahaha, I agree with everyone else. I am an arachnophobic, so running around playing airsoft there, I would probably die from a heart attack. Too many things to kill me.

Then again, airsoft guns are probably powerful enough to go through spiders. It might be a great home protection tool.

Gun laws will never let it happen. Too many retards would be unable to differentiate between real guns and airsoft guns.

Further the way in which that page is written doesn't lend any credibility to the cause.

Best of luck with your assoft.

Might happen in NSW but for the rest of Australia doesn't seem likely.

And besides, have you ever tried to shoot a wombat, bloody things are built like brick ****ters.

Aussie deserts aren't the only places with things that can kill you! Don't forget the ocean, with great white sharks, those nasty jellyfish that can kill a person...anyways, bushranger115, good luck with your petition and; hopefully, your politicians will see the light of day!

I think Airsoft should and could be allowed, even if they had to make a new class of license for airsoft shooters and licensed the airsoftguns with the usual bckground checks, be better than nothing whcih we have atm.

The "petition" appears to have been written by an illiterate 15 year old who got very excited whilst typing.

And this would be the reason why online petitions are worth bugger all, and no-one with half a brain would read them or treat them with any sense of worth, least of all any politician.

Airsoft will never get the go ahead in Australia. Simple. "Replica" weapons require permits in most States and anything capable of firing a projectile requires a 'class' and permit/licence for such. There are far too many vocal groups against legitimate firearms owners as it is, let alone letting kiddies run around with military style replica weapons.

It would be nice but I don't think so.

Anything remotely involving firearms, here in Aus, is seen as an easy mark, a point of ridicule, something to be feared by the press and most of the public.
