Default WWII Reenactors @ CAF Airshow

Thought you WWII buffs and reenactors would like these photos. These guys were great and didn't mind posing for a few photos. Anyway, I hope you guys like them.

You're not a serious axis reenactor without wearing at least the Infantriesturmabzeichen and the EK 2. Everybody knows these awards were handed out when recruits completed infantry training...

remark : he looks a litle bit like Heinrich Himmler (perhaps he received his medals from uncle Heinrich

I think reenacting is the same as any other social environment, there are going to be some who lack situational awareness. Its unfortunate but its all too true.

Oh lawd. Lets see...Knights Cross, Iron Cross, Gold Wound Badge, Infantry Assault Badge, Panzer Destroyer Army Band, Paratrooper Badge (He is in a Wehrmacht Uniform?), Narvik Shield, Captain Rank insignia...Must be a real badass alright.

It's like this when reenactors start to look comical as they try to make themselves look like a war hero. I don't even think some of the most highly decorated soldiers in the Wehrmacht had as many medals as he is sporting...I bet he has a made up story for each of the medals!

^ He's got the HEER fallschirmjager badge, as opposed to the more common Luftewaffe version.

Still, pretty funny.

What an idiot, "Porky Army Para" Gold wound badges were awarded to those who suffered one wound, resulting it total disability, permanent blindness or loss of manhood.

The arm badge is a "Fantasy" as well.
