It seems that the Chinese Authorities are chasing ilegal or clone companies of AEG´s, specially the GBB Replicas.
I Find out that in several international forums the Chinese authorities are making prosecutions and seizures of Chinese airsoft brands and accessories that are not licensed (clones). AGM was the first company affected with their AGM gbb M4 whose new replica was removed from the market, not having patents approved from WA brand, also is established that other brands like DBoy, A&K, AGM and many others, will be persecuted by the authorities, you see, for holders of these brands in the future will be harder to find, not only replicas, spare parts as whell of these Chinese brands at low cost, impacting on new players. It would be nice to know the truth behind this story, I find it incredible that the Chinese authorities are pursuing companies for making unlicensed copies when is well known that in China they copy absolutely EVERYTHING. Let's see what will be the impact of this news on the market. http://szdaily.sznews.com/html/2009-...ent_794341.htm Red Wolf Airsoft Blog http://redwolfairsoft.wordpress.com/...hinese-clones/ Last edited by santana; 10-16-2009 at 12:53 AM. Yes it's true, the rumour has been circulating for so long that people don't believe it anymore- but it's being confirmed by agents of all sorts of airsoft companies over seas.
It's up to you though- if you want an ACM gun get it now just to be safe, or if not, it's deffinatly a risk. |

Old news are sooo exciting.
The AGM boss was sacked and all other factories were forced to shut down. Reasons: 60th Anniversary of Commie China and the usual show of muscle of the regional authorities and to increase bribes. That happened in the past and is likeley to happen again in the future. The first factories are expected to resume work soon, only AGM prouducts may never be seen again, at least not under the same brand. |

As I can live without China-made replicas, it would really suck if they ban accesories and airsoft parts as well. Hope this will never happen. O yeah, and Majkel, China's "law" is still a law of a country ruled by a commie regime, so this move doesn't really have to do anything with the officially stated accusations. In that sense, the whole regime sucks balls.
