That is actually a really cool find: Early to mid-war P-40s in China. There are some good anecdotes in the hyperlinks on the page, too.

Anyone interested in this theater, should get a hold of Don Lopez's autobio - "Into the Teeth of the Tiger".

I'm pretty sure that this pilot, Eddie McGuire features in there, after getting shot down he got strafed by japs in his chute! But survived by swinging on the shroud lines.

Either way it's a great read of a theater you don't hear a lot about.
