Saw it a few days ago, thought it was really informative. My heart goes out to those affected by PTSD.

To be quite honest, the level of support in the CF is almost choking at times. Many people feel like they're normal for NOT having PTSD. At the end of the day, the warrior spirit counts for a lot, some people can exist downrange for month at a time, then come home and be as normal as possible. Others fall apart. Its life. The civilian populace, the CF, and a lot of CF soldiers need to get over themselves and realize that fact. |

Canada and Australia are 2 of the leading countries WRT PTSD info and support. The reason the ram the questionnaires/surveys, is to identify possible issues BEFORE they become problems... Most Injuries can be cured/fixed...PTSD is in the same bout... With smaller armies, losses take a greater toll on manning (obviously) hence the need for retention of it's members...The CF is only trying to protect it's interest...it's commodities..etc... makes sense...
