I would not use them...in fact I find them offensive.

Look at the soldier. Do you want to depict the Allies as blood thirsty killing monsters.

The avatar would work well for a Taliban or Terrorist organization recruitment poster.

The picture of the soldier should be human.

Hope nobody uses it.

To be fair, Iron Maiden have a long standing tradition of doing songs about war; Aces High, The Trooper, Passchendale, etc, and Eddy, the skeleton, has appeared on several album covers in Commonwealth military regalia. Its some pretty cool art in most cases.
That being said, Remembrance Day is a solemn date, and the pictures are not really fitting.
Nice try, Beatles, but not what most people are looking for.

Beatles...your avatar...looks kind of disturbing with the head missing. You should try resizing it.

I'm not keen on those particular pictures, but I actually think it's a fantastic idea, Beatles.

This is the one I shall be using:

It's not specific to any one nation, and features internationally recognisable symbols of remembrance, as well as a simple and enduring message.

It's a personal thing, so why not use a remembrance avatar that really means something to you.
However, if anyone wishes to use the same one as me, you can see it and others in their original form here:

Our weapons readiness states are different than yours. I guarentee he has an empty mag loaded and has not readied the action, which would not allow him to place to weapon on safe.
