Default Pak claims Indian-made arms seized from Taliban

Pak claims Indian-made arms seized from Taliban

http://www.ptinews.com/news/358955_P...d-from-Taliban

Pakistan today claimed its security forces had seized Indian-made arms and equipment from the Taliban stronghold of South Waziristan, where the Army has launched a major operation to flush out the militants.

Information Minister Qamar Zaman Kaira and chief military spokesman Maj Gen Athar Abbas alleged during a news briefing that Pakistani troops had recovered "Indian arms, ammunition, literature and medical equipment" from Sherwangi, a key militant base that was captured a few days ago.

"We have informed the Foreign Office about this evidence. It is up to them to take up the matter with (the Indian government)," Abbas said in response to a question on India's alleged role in backing militants in South Waziristan.

I don't see any Indian markings. The one in the red circle seems like Chinese to me.

Conclusion: China is supporting Taleban in Waziristan .

Seriously, India has supported the Northen Alliance after Taleban took over. So, I would not be surprised if some of the arms and equipment wound up in the hands of Taleban (the mortars(?) are marked 07/88).

Seemingly the marking is chinese. Might well be from the '79-'89 days or from the afterwards chaos, i guess...

As long as there is drug money, there will be arms - nationality irrelevant.

Depends whether your'e in college or at work.
Even then its different for different jobs. Some people in the tech industry do night shifts.

Mostly 9:00 to 5:00
