The only time I have ever seen or heard of MetalStorm has been on Youtube. Have they ever actually sold anything to any military?

I'm no expert, but that rifle grenade launcher actually looks feasible.

I have to say I had/have my doubts about the whole MS thing, but that actually looks somewhat practical.

Every time we start shooting somewhere, people would get stock promotion "newsletters" touting MetalStorm. A junky penny stock that I used to take tons of calls on when I was a broker.
Still, it is a neat idea. More of a solution in desperate need of a problem. |

Pointless.
The first grenade will be so far up the barrel that its accuracy will be rubbish compared to the third. If you need a rapid firing GL, then just use a GMG! I can put accurate 40mm rounds down with a UGL in fairly quick time. You're only talking about 4-5 seconds to reload and aim at most. Imagine that thing on the front of a bullpup weapon like the SA80, or a short weapon like an M4 carbine. It'll be totally imbalanced. |

Donīt think this will work out well. At least not with current ammunition. |

Now notice that the grenade barrel is all the way to the rifle barrel end, a typical m203 extends 15 inches, normally to the end of the front sight. Looks like they added a few inches to keep the same barrel length travel for the first grenade as a normal M203, so technically, it gets more accurate (by your reasoning) |
