This is a question more for hunters I guess:
I just ordered a Docter Sight II for my shortened M98 carbine. I got sockets for the EAW pivot mount on that rifle. Using the pivot mount is certainly the more elegant solution. But I asked an expert and he said best would be to make a fix mount. I may not need to take off the sight so that would be ok from my side. Maybe I have to take off the iron sights then because of the height. It would be the cheapest and most solid solution. That's important because I use this gun crawling through the woods after my dog. Does anyone of you use this sight with one of those mounts and can give me an advice? Thanks! Last edited by Difool; 11-07-2009 at 02:33 AM. |
