Typhoon picture is there because the journalists do not know the difference between a Turkish submarine and a russian nuclear submarine. It would have been to much to ask them to find the picture of Blueshark torpedo, that is the subject of the article.

Under an Memorandum of Understanding agreement signed with the Chilean company FAMAE-Fábricas y Maestranzas del Ejército, the Turkish company Aselsan Elektronik Sanayi ve Ticaret AS is looking to upgrade around 100 Chilean Army (Ejército de Chile) Krauss Maffei Wegmann GmbH & Co KG Leopard 1V battle tanks with the VOLKAN fire control system. The project also includes the cooperation with Chilean companies regarding the production and logistic support activities.
The Leopard 1 is a 42,2 Tonnes battle tank in service with the land forces of Brazil, Canada, Belgium, Australia, Denmark, Greece, Germany, Italy, Norway, Botswana, Turkey and the United Arab Emirates (Italian OF-40).
Ecuador has recently confirmed the procurement of 30 Leopard 1V from Chilean Army stocks.
Since the 90´s, the Chilean Army procured 24 M109 155mm self propelled howitzers from Switzerland and upgraded by RUAG Land Systemd Ltd, 70 Leopard 1V tanks from Germany, 140 Leopard 2A4 battle tanks from Germany, 30 GEPARD 1A2 tracked self-propelled air defence systems from Germany, 139 YPR-765 armoured personnel carriers from the Netherlands, 200 MARDER A3 armoured infantry fighting vehicles from Germany and M113A2 armoured personnel carriers from USA.
The VOLKAN system has been also integrated on 162 Turkish Land Forces Command (Türk Kara Kuvvetleri Komutanlığı) Leopard 1A3T battle tanks under the Tanklarının İyileştirilmesi Projesi tank modernization programme launched by the Turkish procurement agency SSM (Savunma Sanayii Müsteşarlığı) and conducted by the Land Forces Logistics Command (Kara Kuvvetleri Lojistik Komutanlığı).
