Krylon and be creative. A nice blend of green's and tan's would work out just fine. Let it dry for a day or so then rub it down with an old rag to take away the tackyness.

tan and OD krylon camouflage system colors on a sunny day. if it takes you longer than 5 minutes it's overkill.

Painting your own gun is an art. It gives your gun character and uniqueness. Take your time. Read the directions on the can. Try finding a painting forum where more experts can probably give reasonable advice.
Don't just listen to some guys telling you what to do without a good reason why. It is your gun, you decide where your gun needs to blend to, then you find those colors you like, not what others like. |

Here's how I painted my SR16.
Step 1. Purchase Krylon Camo ultraflat paint. I bought khaki, OD green and brown. Step 2. Go to airsoft field to play, have a few skirmishes with a basecoated gun (I use the khaki as a basecoat, it makes the other colors look WAY better when they have a lighter shade as the base) Step 3. Get taken out of one of the skirmishes. Grab paint can, color isnt TOO important since tan is on there. Apply paint as you see fit. Step 4. Dry for a few minutes. Krylon dries quickly I find. Step 5. Skirmish!! WOOT. Maybe kick some ass, otherwise when you are hit, apply the other color. Lookin good yet? I thought so. Step 6. Let it dry, have a beverage, maybe a tasty sandwich. Step 7. Enjoy your now-camo'd gun. |

My little advice, don't paint pistol grip.
1) It's always covered by your hand. 2) The paint fas wipe off beacouse that part is always in use. |
