Default Russian KZKT-7428 Tank Transporter

Hi Guys,

I came across these great pictures of the KZKT-7428 tank trasporter, here are the links:

This is the truck that has a simular cab design to the German FAUN, but is very different in nearly every other way.

I'm not 100% sure on the exact characteristics, but what I know is it has a 30 Ton fith wheel load, independent suspension, automatic diff locks, CTIC, 650 - 830 HP V12, 1.6 Meter tall tires... It's quite a moster

Please post more pics of this and other transporters if you can.

NOTE: These photos were found at http://www.rcforum.ru

X2...I agree, the KZKT-7428 looks meaner, but they both get the job done !

There is two versions of the HETS right? The US and UK versions look different.

Exactly, and they are also made for somewhat different roles. The KZKT-7428 was made with rough terrain in mind, thats why it looks the way it does with the huge tires and ground clearence... even the trailer has big tires.

The HETS was designed for road use, with the ability to tactle medium terrain, plus I bet it's easy to use on public roads.

This type of difference is true for most US and Russian trucks... Russians need high mobility because there is not much roads in Russia... most of it is off-road. While the US simply does not need high mobility, as there is roads everywhere.
