Just the few pics I got. They are currently in service with Jeju SWAT Unit. The only police unit to be uniformly equipped with MP7 in Korea. They were
established just last year and I guess they decided to give the MP7 a chance. A SWAT officer with his MP7 in a CQB facility ![]() MP7 with EO-tech holo site, sweet ![]() K9 officer with his MP7 ![]() Officers with MP7 ![]() and HK P7 on the leg holster. all SK SWAT units employ P7 for side-arm. ![]() as a bonus shot, the JSU logo

That's quite unique that they use the P7 as a sidearm. Any more information on the decision to us the P7?

P7 is not their sidearm, it's the primary. There are Glocks on them there thighs.

Wait, so they seriously use it as a secondary? Or do they use a sidearm as primary? I cna't imagine using that thing in place of a pistol. Going to secondary usually is done in an "oh ****" situation, and the bigger and heavier the sidearm, the slower to bring to bear.

I think it's clear that their using it as their primary weapon, whoever said it's their sidearm is out of his mind. You can clearly see them using Glocks (my guess) as their sidearm. |

Some of you are confusing the MP7 submachine gun with the P7 pistol. Read the post again

My understanding from the original poster was that the MP7 is the primary weapon and the P7 is the secondary.
"and HK P7 on the leg holster. all SK SWAT units employ P7 for side-arm."

I don't have a real good vid on it but this is a clip on the JSU. There's a brief scene with the MP7 at a firing range. http://news.naver.com/vod/vod.nhn?mo...ection_id2=291 Quote:
