Default Latest Russian ArmedForces vehicles and chassis

Here is a bunch of our new army toys, some of them may be a repost, i think

DT10PM - really all-terrain thing. earth pressure (not sure that is right word) is just 0.24kg/cm2


GAZ 2975 Tigr - our new multirole vehicle. reminf me of something...


another Tigr - with mounted AGS and 12.7mm machinegun.

Looks like the russians are quickly catching up with the west with those armored jeeps and trucks! Good stuff, I like it a lot!

The Gaz looks a lot like the Iveco and the DT10PM looks like a heavier version of the Bsv10 all terrain vehicle series. The "Vepr" chassis looks wicked

btw; "earth pressure" is ground pressure

Which Gaz looks like Iveco? There are many in that thread.

i remember the vepr from a few years back, i believe it was initially built as a proposed vehicle for forest workers who have to go into parts of the forest that are still mined from ww2. neat vehicles, thanks for sharing.

yes, Tigr is oficially accepted as transport vehicle for MVD OMON/OMSN units. i have no info about how many already built for them. also there is a Armed Forces order, and i hear that active army branches (motorized inf, SF) get first Tigrs in november-december.

not much. 260hp diesel, BTR suspension, length 6500mm, width 2700mm, height 2650mm, the botom is proyected by angled armor plates (anti-mine), can drive in 1.5m deep water. can transport up to 9 people.
