Looks like water probably held in the top pan - drips down filling the bottom one. Once enough water has accumulated the weight pulls the trigger.
Something to keep the other guys on their toes, or part of the ANZAC pull out from Gallipoli perhaps? |

He meant goggles. As in his goggles are freakishly large and the enemy would probably laugh at him.... right before he shoots them. Funny I guess.
lol, first thing that came to mind from his post was:

The bottom plate that hold in that spring has shifted rendering the magazine useless as it wont feed. I fail to see whats fun in that seeing it means he wont be able too shoot probably ending up dead...

...which is why he is furiously pulling on the cocking handle. He is trying to clear what he thought was a stoppage. I wonder how long it took him to notice.

are you sure about that, it seems he's taped two mags together with one probably having the feed-lips facing down, isn't it more likely that he's knocked the feed lips open when he went down prone, and it sprayed the cartridges and the spring all over? I see he's pulling the cocking handle back, so maybe it is the bottom plate, but i'd expect the feed-lips to give way like i described before the bottom plate came off, after all they usually sit pretty damned tight on.

But whatever is most funny to you. ---------------- Actually I take that back after a quick google check and it appears you could be right. Here's a website that's probably the origin of the pic. http://www.fmft.net/archives/001463.html And here is a pic of taped double mag on the first page of google image search: ![]() (I guess you can't tape them side by side with similar ends because there's no spacing between the mags... that's where a clamp would come in handy I guess. ) Then I guess this is stays funny right as he probably didn't get screwed, rite? lol. |
